What problem did we solve?
Previously, only partial and generalized inventory information was available in Excel. For IT equipment, details like manufacturer, model, purchase date, and release year were missing.
For furniture, location details were outdated, and accessing inventory in hard-to-reach areas, such as ceiling-mounted projectors, was challenging.
What was done to solve it?
Kallavere Secondary School transitioned inventory management to a digital system using RFID tags and IDsys Online standardized software.
How does the solution work?
The system, leveraging RFID tags, a handheld reader, and IDsys Online software, enables effortless room inventory checks.
Each item is now assigned a serial number and RFID tag.
The solution is incomparable to an MS Excel table. Upon scanning a room, all inventory details update automatically, including the last check date.
