What problem did we solve?
Inventory management was performed using the PMen accounting software. Previously, inventory lists were created in PMen, sent to subordinate institutions via email, assets were manually recorded, and the lists were signed on paper. This made the inventory process time-consuming for the municipal government and its subordinate institutions.
What was done to solve it?
Saku Municipal Government has implemented an inventory management system based on RFID tags and IDsys Online software.
How does the solution work?
The system, leveraging RFID tags, a handheld reader, and IDsys Online software, enables effortless room inventory checks. Thanks to the tags and previous readings, it is also possible to locate assets in various locations. Information about the assets is immediately digitized.
How does it improve efficiency?
The inventory process for properly tagged and scanned items is fast and seamless. The solution, which spans all subordinate institutions, provides a clear overview of assets located in different places, significantly improving inventory visibility. Manual processes have been replaced with precise and fast automated activities.
